Bartender Amérys Phú Quốc Hotel

• Prepare a wide range of beverages (classic and signature cocktails, wine, beer, non‑alcoholic drinks) to recipes and service standards.
• Greet guests, take orders, recommend drinks and provide knowledgeable guidance on cocktails, spirits and pairings.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and presentation: polish glassware, clean bar counters, wash equipment and maintain organised mise en place.
• Manage bar stock and inventory: receive deliveries, check invoices, rotate stock, label and store products correctly.
• Prepare garnishes, syrups and mixers; ensure consistency in taste and portion control.
• Operate POS and handle cash/credit transactions accurately; follow cash‑handling and reporting procedures.
• Monitor alcohol service responsibly; refuse service where necessary and follow company policies and local regulations regarding alcohol service.
• Support promotions and upselling initiatives (specials, flights, pairing suggestions).
• Assist with opening/closing bar procedures, bar setup, restocking and end‑of‑shift counts.
• Report equipment faults, maintenance needs or supply shortages to supervisors.
• Collaborate with F&B team for events, private bookings and service coordination.
• Participate in training, cocktail development sessions and tastings.

Annual Leave: 12 days of paid annual leave per year (plus additional days based on seniority).

Public Holidays: 11 paid public holidays per year as per government regulations. Overtime pay applies if working during holidays.

Salary & Service Charge: Competitive base salary plus monthly Service Charge (once operational).

• Previous bartending experience preferred (1–2 years for entry, 2+ years for senior bartender) in hotels, bars or restaurants; cocktail‑bar experience an advantage.
• Good knowledge of cocktail recipes, spirits, wine, beer and non‑alcoholic beverages.
• Basic bar skills: shaking, stirring, muddling, layering, garnishing and pouring control.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
• Fluent Vietnamese; good English for tourist or international venues is preferred.
• Beverage safety and responsible service awareness (local licensing rules); food hygiene training is an advantage.
• Hospitality or bartending certificate is a plus but not mandatory.
