- Supervise daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, income audit, and general ledger maintenance.
- Lead and manage the finance team, ensuring punctuality, professional conduct, and strict adherence to the hotel’s financial SOPs.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, providing clear insights to the General Manager and Owners.
- Ensure full compliance with local tax laws, statutory reporting, and Vietnam Accounting Standards (VAS).
- Coordinate and lead internal and external audits to ensure the integrity of financial records and operational procedures.
- Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and credit policies to ensure the hotel meets its financial obligations efficiently.
- Oversee the preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts, collaborating with Department Heads to manage departmental expenses.
- Monitor and control hotel inventories (F&B, Spa, Rooms) and conduct regular spot checks to minimize loss and maximize profitability.
- Ensure the accuracy of payroll processing and that all tax and social insurance contributions are handled correctly.
- Oversee the maintenance and security of the accounting software (ERP/PMS) and all financial documentation.
- Conduct staff training on financial procedures, cost-control measures, and professional development for the accounting team.
- Advise the management team on financial risks, cost-saving opportunities, and investment decisions to support the hotel’s long-term success.
