Role Summary:
The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and guest comfort are consistently met. You will directly oversee the housekeeping attendants and housemen, providing hands-on leadership to ensure all guest rooms and public areas reflect the hotel's 4-star brand standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily housekeeping operations, ensuring host punctuality, proper grooming, and uniform standards.
- Assign daily tasks, coordinate villa blocking for maintenance, and support planning and execution of housekeeping activities.
- Conduct daily inspections of guest villas, public areas, and back-of-house to ensure cleanliness and service quality.
- Ensure compliance with equipment handling, storage, chemical safety, and service standards.
- Handle guest requests and complaints professionally, ensuring privacy and personalized service.
- Coordinate closely with Engineering and other departments to resolve maintenance issues promptly.
- Manage lost & found, key control, linen, and supply inventories.
- Ensure equipment and supplies are available, properly stored, and well maintained.
- Prepare team schedules, rosters, and support manpower planning.
- Assist in staff training, onboarding, performance reviews, and continuous improvement.
- Report safety hazards and ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Support daily operations and cover for supervisors when required.
