Role Summary:
The Spa Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of wellness, relaxation, and guest service are consistently met. You will directly oversee the spa therapists and receptionists, providing hands-on leadership to ensure that all treatments, facilities, and guest interactions reflect the hotel’s 4-star brand standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily spa operations, ensuring staff punctuality, professional grooming, and adherence to uniform standards.
- Assign daily therapist rotations, manage the booking schedule, and ensure maximum room utilization and efficient appointment flow.
- Conduct daily inspections of treatment rooms, relaxation lounges, and "wet" areas (sauna, steam room, pool) to ensure impeccable cleanliness and setup.
- Ensure strict compliance with health and safety regulations, sanitation protocols for equipment, and product shelf-life management.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, offering expert advice on treatments and ensuring a personalized wellness experience.
- Coordinate closely with Housekeeping for linen/towel supply and Engineering to ensure ambient temperature, lighting, and spa equipment are in perfect working order.
- Manage inventory of professional products (oils, creams), guest amenities, and retail items to prevent stock-outs and minimize waste.
- Ensure all specialized spa equipment and furniture are well-maintained, sanitized, and functioning correctly.
- Prepare team schedules, rosters, and support manpower planning based on guest bookings and hotel occupancy.
- Assist in staff training (treatment protocols, upselling retail products, guest etiquette), onboarding, and performance reviews.
- Report safety hazards and ensure the team is trained in emergency procedures and guest physical safety during treatments.
- Support daily operations by assisting at the spa reception or covering for the Spa Manager when required.
